The perfect location to enjoy Weymouth on a quiet cul de sac facing the beautiful beach. Short of sleeping on the beach you could not get nearer to the sea. We loved our seaview from the family room on the first floor. The b&b is within easy walking distance of Weymouth town centre and all it has to offer, but far enough from the late night noise of revellers. Nick and Viv are friendly but unobtrusive hosts. The facilities are adequate but not luxurious. There was just about enough room for the en suite shower in our room, and the tv buzzed a bit. But we were on the beach the whole day, so all we needed was a shower when we got back and a hearty breakfast to set us up for the day.

The place is well worn, but Nick and Viv only took over last year and they plan further refurbishment. We wish them well and would certainly consider staying again when we come down to Weymouth. Parking is a bit difficult in Weymouth. We used the Lodmoor car park 10 minutes walk away, but you do have to pay.

The owner was very friendly.quite hospitable family run buisness.Location is excellent though car parking is a bit cumbersome but that can be expected.good clean living quarters.breakfast can't be faulted.good experince all throughout.

Car parking and the lack of electric shaver points are two minor things but not too much to crib about.A Wonderful stay. Thanks a lot.

The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming and the location of the b&b was overlooking the beach. We had a room at the back so no view unfortunately but we were out most of the time enjoying Weymouth. We had booked a room with no en suite, however, the shared bathroom was right next door plus another separate toilet next to that so we were spoilt for choice as we seemed to have sole use of these facilities. There was only a half hour slot to make breakfast in the morning but it was worth getting up early on the sunday as the food was delicious!

The only thing I would say about our stay was that the bed was extremely uncomfortable & lumpy. A new mattress and the stay would have been perfect!

Location: The hotel was situated opposite the beach tucked away from main promenade but still close to the ameneties. Breakfast: was cooked nicely and just the right amount of food.

The hotel was fairly clean though in need of updating. I did not like that there was still rubbish from the previous guests in the waste bin and a T-shirt still left in the wardrobe! This made me think that if this can be missed what other things are being missed........

After arriving late, I was greeted with a very friendly and warm greeting. Breakfast was a pleasant experience. I would stay again.

The breakfast was good, the waitress service was cheerful and filling my flask of tea was an added bonus

A little tired and in need rejuvenation

A small typical English guesthouse (B&B). Friendly hosts and view over the bay was worth it.

The owners were lovely. The food delicious and well presented. The rooms basic but clean and comfortable. Right next to the beach and a lovely view.

We chose the Lyndale for it's location and we were not dissapointed, the view from our room was fantastic. Because of it's location the only noise came from the waves breaking against the beach just outside. The quality of the breakfast was good and substantial, better than some larger hotels. We enjoyed our stay.

The Lyndale is not a new building and could do with a refurb, creaky floorboards and dated shower etc, but isn't this typical of guest houses and doesn't this add to the character? These points wouldn't stop us from returning.

Perfectly placed for the ferry port - which was why I stayed in Weymouth. Good breakfast.

Bit short on smiles, but there could easily be good reasons for that.

The staff were so friendly, and made us very welcome. The rooms were spotless and so clean, the room was really comfortable. The breakfast was great and they had all the facilities for our young daughter.

The owner and his wife were very friendly and helpful.

The decor was very dated and there was a stale smell of cooking in the hall.

I liked the relaxation, fresh air from the seaside, the friendliness of the staff at the hotel and it was generally nice to get away for a few days

    No complaints

The friendly owners were wonderful; very helpful and accomodating

Bathroom shower was poorly caulked. And water in shower varied from tepid to hot on it's own without adjusting the water valve. Must be something wrong with the valve, which I told the owner about next day.
